Dan Sloutskovski

Cellist
Behind each note, a sober intensity that touches the soul. More than a concert, an encounter.

A language
Beyond words

For me, music is not a demonstration but a language, the language that connects beings who, without it, would not speak to each other.
I went through silences, ruptures, rebirths, and today I play to share this experience.

The important thing is not what I show, but what you feel.

Born into a family of musicians, Dan Sloutskovski built an extraordinary career at an early age. A child prodigy in Russia, he performed as a soloist from the age of thirteen, from Moscow to the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. Winner of prestigious competitions since his youth, he is now invited to major international stages and shares the bill with Martha Argerich, Nelson Goerner, Alissa Margulis, Aldo Ciccolini, Sergey Ostrovsky, among others.
Driven by orchestral music and team spirit, he holds the position of solo cello at the Orchestre de Chambre de Genève (OCG), where he collaborated with conductors such as Christopher Hogwood, Armin Jordan, Michel Corboz, Arie van Beek, Arie van Beek, Arie van Beek, Juraj Van Beek, Juraj Valčuha, Juraj Valčuha, Marcus Kucha, Marcus Bosch, Marcus Bosch, Maxim Vengerov, Andrea Marcon, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Vladimir Spivakov and many others. others.
Beyond the projectors and the big stages, its identity was forged in the introspection of the musical gesture: a sober virtuosity, always at the service of emotion.
